WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH PRIVATE RENTAL?
Movie package includes a movie screen, projector, speaker system, cables and cords, silent generator, dvd player, FM transmitter, laptop or ipad with streaming capability (if required), set up/break down and up to 3 hours of entertainment time. If applicable, rentals include the use of wireless headphones up for up to 200 people. There is no charge for set up/break down and it is not included in the 3-hour time frame. Event staff will arrive to the location 1 hour prior to event start time for set up. Client will provide DVD movie.
HOW CAN ATTENDEES LISTEN TO THE MOVIE AT A DRIVE-IN EVENT?
Vehicles will use their FM radio to tune into a specific station. The FM station will be displayed on the movie screen continuously for 30 minutes prior to the start of the movie. Additionally, attendees can use other devices to tune into the FM station such as radio headphones or smartphone app. Vehicles MUST be able to turn head lights off while playing car radio.
WHAT IS A QUIET MOVIE EVENT? HOW DO I RENT HEADPHONES?
At quiet movie events, the movie sound is transmitted directly to headphones. At the movie event, headphones will be distributed to moviegoers and collected at the end of the event (check in/out). To view additional information, click HERE.
WILL A MOVIE EVENT RENTAL BE CANCELLED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER? IF SO, WILL I RECEIVE A REFUND?
We understand that there are factors beyond both our control and your control, such as weather and emergencies that may arise before or during your event. If factors arise, you may shift your event date. You must call to reschedule at least 3 hours prior to your event start time and/or before our staff has begun traveling to your event. Big Screen Flicks reserves the right to delay or postpone a rental due to winds above 10 MPH or inclement weather that threatens our crew or equipment. HOW DO I RESERVE A RENTAL?
An initial deposit of 10%of the total service fee is required to confirm your event date along with a signed copy of our rental agreement. This deposit is non-refundable and serves to hold your date on our calendar. The final balance for your rental is due no later than 7 days after the event date. You are welcome to pay in full at the time of your deposit. Your date is not confirmed unless we have received your deposit AND signed contract.
